Define how the space would be delivered
If you plan to disassemble furniture on your own, specify which pieces you would remove and what would remain in place. A photograph of the planned state helps differentiate an empty kitchen from a ready-to-install stand. It is also worth clarifying what would happen to the worktop, appliances and remains of fixings on walls and floors.
Check supports after discovering them
Disassembly can leave visible areas that cannot be verified today. Before mounting the new cabinets you will have to evaluate their condition and the necessary preparations. The installation of furniture needs to be supported on suitable surfaces, even if the previous removal has been made by another person. See also: furniture installation.
Separate parts removal disconnects
Disassembly of a cabinet does not amount to safely intervening in a connection. It indicates what elements require specific action and how it will be coordinated. When asking for an assessment, it leaves in writing the point of delivery between works to avoid that a necessary preparation is not responsible.
